CORNERSTONE Re-Signs With MASSACRE RECORDS

October 11, 2006

CORNERSTONE, the Danish/British melodic metal band featuring YNGWIE MALMSTEEN/ex-RAINBOW frontman Doogie White and ex-ROYAL HUNT bassist Steen Mogensen, has re-signed with Massacre Records for the European release of its new album, entitled "Two Tales and One Tomorrow". Meanwhile, the group's management is still in talks with record companies in Japan. "Our label in Japan is restructuring and could not commit to releasing the new album, so we are looking for another company that will do 'Two Tales and One Tomorrow' the promotion we feel it deserves," stated Doogie. Songtitles set to appear on CORNERSTONE's follow-up to 2003's "Once Upon Our Yesterdays" include "Prey", "Mother of Mercy", "Requiem", "Wicked" and "Two Tales and One Tomorrow". An early 2007 release is expected.

CORNERSTONE's live album, "Cornerstone In Concert", was released in July 2005 in Japan via Yamaha Communications and in Europe through Massacre Records. The CD was recorded at several shows on the group's debut tour of Europe in January/Febuary 2005. Included in the package is a video clip of live and backstage footage from the band's private archives.
